Debbie Pun D.C.
Dr. Debbie's first encounter with Chiropractic was after a sport injury from basketball in high school. Her journey did not begin until years later after seeing friends and family struggle with different health conditions. She earned both her Bachelors of Science and Doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.
While attending she played rugby for Palmer Women's Rugby. She also spent valuable time as an intern in multiple respected chiropractic offices. One of them was a pediatric focused office where she witnessed how chiropractic can help kids with various neurological disorders; for example autism and/or other spectrum disorders. She then realized the importance of having chiropractic care starting at a young age and developed a passion to care for families through wellness and education.
Dr. Debbie also served in multiple chiropractic mission trips in Guatemala providing service to patients with limited access to healthcare. When she is not in the office you will find her being active outdoors, hiking, and doing CrossFit. She also values time spent volunteering and being out in the community. She is excited to serve the people in Hawaii and help them achieve a higher quality of life.
Dr. Alan D.C.
Dr. Alan's story starts in the Bay Area in California where he grew up (go warriors!). As a kid he quickly became attracted to health, fitness, and athletics, eventually earning himself a basketball scholarship to play at Holy Names University in Oakland, CA. He was introduced to chiropractic in high school, after going through a plethora of sports related injuries.
He loved the way that chiropractic looked at the body as a whole integrated system instead of individual mechanical parts. Since then he knew that that is what he wanted to do. He has always had a longing to serve others. This has driven him to take the gift of chiropractic to serve people all around the world including: Haiti, China, and Fiji. He has also just come back from volunteering an entire year in the Dominican Republic to give both free and low cost care to low income communities. Now, he is ready to continue serving right here at Cornerstone.
